REFUNDING A RENT OVERPAYMENT

Need to refund a rent overpayment to a tenant.

SOLUTION:

Note: Overpayment has been made on a charge code.

1.  Adjust Overpaid charge code to zero in the Tenant Window| Edit Ledger| Adjust A Charge Window.

2.  Make a payable to the tenant for the amount of the overpayment, debiting the same COA as the Overpayment Charge.
