Question / Issue
Error Loading File (Calender)- Windows XP

Answer / Solution

The user gets a message similar to:

"Error loading file - record number 8. calendar . Parent: Error with DayOfWeek - Height : Expression evaluated to an illegal value."

SOLUTION:

This error is a result of the added ability in Windows XP to allow different dimensions to the height of the title bar and font for each window. Here is how you correct that:

1) Right-click you mouse on a blank area of your desktop.

2) Left-click on Properties.

3) Click on the Appearance tab.

4) Change the option under "Windows and buttons" to "Windows Classic Style"

5) Click on OK. Start Property Manager Edge.

Note:  You can try to keep your current desktop appearance settings if you use the Advanced button and try to reduce the title bars size and font to something comparable to the "Windows Classic Style" option.
